Deuteronomy 20:9
NIV:  When the officers have finished speaking to the army, they shall appoint commanders over it.
NAS:  "When the officers have finished speaking to the people, they shall appoint commanders of armies at the head of the people.
KJV:  And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people that they shall make captains of the armies to lead the people.
GWT:  When the officers finish speaking to the troops, they should appoint commanders to lead them.
ASV:  And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people, that they shall appoint captains of hosts at the head of the people.
BBE:  Then, after saying these words to the people, let the overseers put captains over the army.
