Proverbs 16:5
NIV:  The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished.
NAS:  Everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD; Assuredly, he will not be unpunished.
KJV:  Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
GWT:  Everyone with a conceited heart is disgusting to the LORD. Certainly, [such a person]will not go unpunished.
ASV:  Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to Jehovah: Though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
BBE:  Everyone who has pride in his heart is disgusting to the Lord: he will certainly not go free from punishment.
DBY:  Every proud heart is an abomination to Jehovah: hand for hand, he shall not be held innocent.
DRB:  Every proud man is an abomination to the Lord: though hand should be joined to hand, he is not innocent. The beginning of a good way is to do justice; and this is more acceptable with God, than to offer sacrifices.
