Deuteronomy 1:43
NIV:  So I told you, but you would not listen. You rebelled against the LORD's command and in your arrogance you marched up into the hill country.
NAS:  "So I spoke to you, but you would not listen. Instead you rebelled against the command of the LORD, and acted presumptuously and went up into the hill country.
KJV:  So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill.
GWT:  I told you, but you wouldn't listen. You defied the LORD's command and invaded the mountain region.
ASV:  So I spake unto you, and ye hearkened not; but ye rebelled against the commandment of Jehovah, and were presumptuous, and went up into the hill-country.
BBE:  This I said to you, but you gave no attention and went against the orders of the Lord, and in your pride went up into the hill-country.
